Lighten up and don’t take yourself or your perceived situation seriously, for it is really nothing. “My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world.” Thank God.
A body means nothing except for the meaning you give it, the purpose you assign it. Hand it to the Holy Spirit for the Purpose of healing the false idea of separation. Be and breathe.
You are not a body, and the body is as lifeless as any device, for that is what it is, really–a device. Give it to the Holy Spirit and it becomes a device for the Communication of Love, of Forgiveness, and for choosing peace over conflict and innocence over guilt, which truly is choosing freedom over imprisonment.
Hold not your brothers and sisters in a false concept, for if you do, you hold yourself there, too. Free yourself, free the world. Be mindful and remember that what you experience and how you react is your responsibility. It is your mind’s decision, but this decision can always be changed.
Remember Who You Really Are and that Who You Really Are Is One with Love, and therefore IS Love. You are loved and blessed always, and all is well, in Truth. Namaste.
Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, and the second Monday of October in Canada. North America ritually and enthusiastically celebrates the official holiday for ‘giving thanks’ by supporting the exploitation, confinement and slaughter of the native, majestic bird that has been bred into a mutated creature of mutation and misery. WTF North America!!!
Butterball, the world’s leading turkey producer (breeds, ‘raises’ and slaughters hundreds of millions of turkeys) has been caught abusing and neglecting their birds in several facilities, year after year! http://butterballabuse.com/
As if that’s not enough, a Lilydale slaughterhouse in Canada (MY COUNTRY), was just caught torturing turkeys to death: http://lilydaleturkeytorture.ca/
And, in January 2017, six activists from DxE entered a farm in Moroni, Utah that supplies turkeys to Norbest, a large company that markets itself as selling “mountain-grown” turkeys who are treated with particularly humane care. They assure their “practices are humane” and ethical, “with the health and comfort of the birds of paramount importance.” Here is what they found: https://youtu.be/G7aPw7bM9OY
The photo at the end of the video of the lamb and the turkey is Toulouse the Lamb and her turkey friend who were rescued and live at The Gentle Barn, an animal sanctuary and organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, educating and providing a safe place for abused and commodified animals. http://gentlebarn.org
A big thanks to Mercy For Animals for their undercover investigation footage and work.

Confronted with the problems that characterize our herding culture, we are perhaps like the metaphorical man wounded by an arrow that the Buddha discussed with his students. He said that the man would be foolish if he tried to discover who shot the arrow, why he shot it, where he was when he shot it, and so forth, before having the arrow removed and the wound treated, lest he bleed to death attempting to get his questions answered. We, likewise, can all remove the arrow and treat the wound of eating animal foods right now. We don’t need to know the whole history. We can easily see it is cruel and that it is unnecessary; whatever people have done in the past, we are not obligated to imitate them if it is based on delusion.
