The Miracle of Experience – Rupert Spira

Comment from Gerald McCreery2 weeks ago

understanding suffering is understanding what is wrong,. understanding what is wrong does not awaken what we want in life. this is based on the premise that we do not actually want to suffer but would rather be happy, studying suffering is like hitting yourself in the head in order to see how good it feels when it stops, awakening from a dream is being who you are and knowing that you are complete and awake and no longer can even entertain the idea of dreaming

Audiobook : The Mindful Way through Depression – by J. Mark G. Williams [ Full ] – YouTube

Pema Chödrön With Dale Asrael

You are fundamentally open-minded, openhearted, worthy, and good. But maybe you’ve forgotten that. This weekend, through meditation, teachings, and dialogue (yup, you get to ask questions!), Pema Chödrön and Dale Asrael will help you remember your basic goodness.

I’ve been watching these live broadcasts of the eOmega.org weekend retreat and, of course, they’re wonderfully powerful. Pema just recommended this book to a questioner who is suffering with depression and found the audio version on YouTube.

The Mindful Way through Depression – by J. Mark G. Williams

satsang with mooji – Quote of the Day

Grace sometimes touches life in such a way that one’s whole being is set on fire in such a powerful way that one becomes filled with a confidence and urge to throw one’s whole existence into the abyss of the Self.

You may find yourself saying, ‘Remove everything. Save nothing. Remove every falsehood from my being.’Then everything is thrown aside, including one’s self, the ‘thrower’. Unexpectedly, one finds a sense of great unburdening, a completeness, peace and quiet joy within one’s heart. Now there remains an effortless silence and stillness. And it’s not that there remains an ‘I’ that received this. There is nobody to receive.

Inside one’s being, one quietly knows: ‘I am neither a “receiver” nor a “giver”. I am no one.’ And yet, one finds oneself saying, ‘Thank you, Beloved.’~ Mooji 10th of September, 2014

The Wisdom of the Heart – Part 1 – Mooji

‘What Truth is cannot be lost. It cannot be owned. It can only be. That is the most important thing you will discover.”If you have to study and practice to become something you will have to spend a lot of energy to retain and maintain that understanding or that skill. Your Self is not like that. It is already perfectly in place from before the beginning of anything. It is here.
