Birx admits: they overplayed the shots | Tom Woods | TomSchoolofLife.com

Deborah Birx, former White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, recently told FOX News a couple of interesting things about the shots.First, she noted that more than half of the deaths from Omicron occurred in people who had received them.

Second, she said that she “knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection and I think we overplayed the vaccines.”

Yes, they may have “overplayed the vaccines” just a teensy-weensy bit, don’t you think?

Otherwise it was all pure rationality, cost-benefit analysis, and calm reason.

I appreciated the response of Todd Zywicki, the law professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University who successfully sued over the irrational vax mandate at his school (he discussed this with me in Tom Woods Show episode #2114):

“She tells us now that the vax wouldn’t prevent transmission? After millions of people were fired or took the shot under duress just to keep their jobs, stay in school, or participate in high school sports and other activities?”

On a related topic, Zywicki just posted this:

All excellent points.Doctors’ offices are among the last holdouts of the mask religion, and I’ve never seen more “sanitized pens” and “used pens” labels than in medical offices. The vast bulk of the profession, with the usual noble exceptions (like the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons), disgraced itself throughout the whole episode.

So let’s take stock here.

If you want to learn American history, forget about asking the typical professor.

If you want to find out what’s going on in the world, forget about asking the typical journalist.

If you want a serious cost-benefit discussion of the shots for people in various age groups, forget about asking the typical physician.

If you want an overview of the Federal Reserve and its true effects on the economy, forget about asking the typical economist.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Clown World.

Clown World wants to demoralize you, even make you question your sanity, with its propaganda.

It wants you demonized and isolated — from your more obedient family and friends, and even from society at large.

It wants you to grow so weary and discouraged that you just throw in the towel, because what can one person do.

Well, that isn’t happening.

Your one-way ticket out of Clown World is here, but the train is just about to leave the station:
