What does ‘One With God’ mean? When God is clothed in human experience, namely thinking and perceiving, God’s being seems to become a human being, but the ‘being’ of each ‘human being’ is really God’s being. Rupert describes God’s being as the impersonal, shared being from which all people and things are made of. No matter the behavior of someone else towards you, their being is still God’s being which we all share. This recognition is demonstrated through love, which is the sharing of our one being, or God’s being. Rupert describes God’s being as the impersonal, shared being from which all people and things are made of. This clip was taken from the Online Retreat at Home: The Effortless Path to Happiness, which took place from August 20 – 24, 2021.
