understanding suffering is understanding what is wrong,. understanding what is wrong does not awaken what we want in life. this is based on the premise that we do not actually want to suffer but would rather be happy, studying suffering is like hitting yourself in the head in order to see how good it feels when it stops, awakening from a dream is being who you are and knowing that you are complete and awake and no longer can even entertain the idea of dreaming
