State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf condemned the deadly shelling of a United Nations school in Gaza on Wednesday. She called for a “full and prompt” investigation into the incident, but declined to immediately place the blame on Israel.

Artillery shells hit the UN school crowded with refugees, while Israeli airstrikes hit a group of rescue workers and onlookers who had rushed to the scene of a previous attack in a busy shopping area – READ MORE http://on.rt.com/wbpjap

About Me

Welcome! :-)

Let’s get straight into it shall we?…

I’ve been around the block a few times if you know what I mean, I used to take recreational drugs, be anorexic and bulimic. I was a mess and I tried to hide it behind makeup and a well-rehearsed smile.
I’ve been into health from a young age. On our farm my mum made a point of bringing us up on organic fruits and veggies. Dad made a point of working us hard and instilling the ‘stay active’ philosophy that I’ve adhered to ever since.

I moved from the country when I was 16 to the ‘big smoke’ City. I got a temporary job at McShit’s for a year before attending high school there. After school I attempted a dietetics course in college but gave it away as it was boring as hell and even then I remember saying to my mum that it just seemed wrong to give a heart attack patient beef and milk post op.

I had various jobs when I finished school – bar waitress, nude stripper (lol one night), office chick, movie theatre attendant, room housekeeper at the snow… I didn’t know what I wanted to do, all the while I was suffering from poor health and self esteem.

I gained some interesting credentials – advanced nutrition, weight training, aerobic conditioning and training special populations and became clued up on the standard nutritionists way of prescribing a healthy diet. What a joke! Anyways…

My last job before finding my true purpose was working as a personal trainer in a big gym, it was a great change from working in a boring arse office. I got to hang out with fit people and learn more about diet and lifestyle. I started off your typical “You need meat for protein” type, not really even knowing what a vegan was until I got a vegan client. I selfishly whined to her “but I could never give up my lamb…” and she gave me the exact valid reasons I give to people today, I of course fobbed them off as being too extreme. That was until my yoga teacher looked into my eyes and told me I was full of mucus and needed to basically get my shit together. She told me about veganism and juicing and that is where it all started. Unfortunately I didn’t have a clue, I tried to do raw from the info I gathered but no programs were high carb and because of a lack of glucose to the brain, I fell off the wagon quick smart.

Fast forward a few years and I was suffering big time… exhausted, pimply, farty, overweight. I started to get really unreliable and call up sick to my clients. It wasn’t a good look for a personal trainer who was meant to be healthy and fit.
The last straw was when I went to the Greek Islands in 2006 and smashed myself with vaccinations and sloppy meaty garbage. I came back a train wreck and reprimanded myself “What the fuck am I doing to myself?!” I was sick of feeling like a piece of shi…

Ultimately I found the high fruit lifestyle through a lovely girl at a raw picnic, she was on the program, I was freakin’ blown away with the results I began to experience within just a month of being on the program. Digestion became a breeze, skin was clearing up, depression was lifting…From that point on I knew this was it, I’d found IT. The most amazing lifestyle on the Planet, the one we are designed to follow.

Fast forward a year or two and I got together with my partner Durianrider.

Together we created 30bananasaday which is now the busiest raw vegan and vegan website on the web! We now have over 10,000 members and participation is very high. You can read many peoples positive testimonials here.

Fast forward another couple of years and I put out my first ebook. Called “Go FRUIT Yourself!“, you can check it out here, don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom and read the testimonials. You can also read the first chapter for free by following THIS link. Shortly I will be putting out another ebook, a 30day workbook to really kickstart your high carb, raw vegan lifestyle so stay tuned! Not only that but I am also writing a fat loss booklet featuring all my best advice about becoming a lean bean.

Keiser Report: Dumb Money E632 – YouTube

Published on Jul 26, 2014In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert with a double header discussing the ‘dumb money’ piling into markets just as the Spectator’s cover story reads: “The Next Crash: We could be on the brink of another financial crisis.” Max and Stacy read through the piece in shock at the obvious signs of misallocation of wealth while chasing dumb bubbles – including a P/E ratio now at 25.6 compared to a historic norm of 16.5. In the second half, they examine more misallocation of wealth as the US spends an additional $1 trillion annually on healthcare compared to if they spent the same percentage of GDP as the next most expensive country, the Netherlands. While overspending by $1 trillion, the energy grid has the most blackouts of any developed nation and yet less than half a trillion could replace the dumb, old grid with a smart, new one.

Scheming Aggressive War – Paul Craig Roberts

Despite the conclusion by US intelligence that there is no evidence of Russian involvement in the destruction of the Malaysian airliner and all lives on board, Washington is escalating the crisis and shepherding it toward war.Twenty-two US senators have introduced into the 113th Congress, Second Session, a bill, S.2277, “To prevent further Russian aggression toward Ukraine and other sovereign states in Europe and Eurasia, and for other purposes.” https://beta.congress.gov/113/bills/s2277/BILLS-113s2277is.pdf The bill is before the Committee on Foreign Relations.Note that prior to any evidence of any Russian aggression, there are already 22 senators lined up in behalf of preventing further Russian aggression.

Gaza is not just about them, it’s about us, too by Jon Snow| Snowblog

She lay in my arms. Just weeks old, a tiny baby. Her Palestinian father had just handed her to me at the infernal steel border building at the exit of Gaza into Israel. She did not cry. She just looked at me with her beady, dark eyes.

Her father was trying both to open her pram, and steady his wounded wife in her wheel chair. Their luggage was scattered at the final entry gate as if just thrown through it.

Eric Appleby: Visitors to this blog may appreciate the heartfelt poem posted on the Encompass message board by Amit, its coordinator in Jerusalem:

my friend,
my dear friend,
what happened to you
you used to be so lovely and full of dreams,
you used to call this land the holy land and there’s nothing holy in watering it with blood,
you used to be so much more creative, if you can create bombs and war strategies surely you can create peace, if you can dig death tunnels surely you can dig your way out of this,
if you can believe in your strength to carry the heavy losses, surely you can believe that under the hard skin of your enemy there is a beating heart like yours,
what happened to you, my dear friend, that you covered yourself with fear and hate, show me where it hurts, so i can kiss you there, and remind you that whatever illness your heart caught, there is nothing you cannot overcome, whatever horror scenarios and memories keeps you shivering in the shadows, greater are the wings that hope will give you,
rise from this war, my friend, awake from your nightmare,
you have proven yourself to have such powers and bravery to stand in front of your enemy, now use them to cleanse the enemy within, now use them to be free from fear,
if you are who you say you are, my friend, and you are,
please stop hiding
if you want to be a light to the rest of the world,
well, my friend, it is time to shine.

Elizabeth Warren’s 11 Progressive Commandments – Rebutted! – Stefan Molyneux

Published on Jul 24, 2014

What does it mean to be a progressive? Elizabeth Warren answered that question recently by outlining her 11 tenets of progressivism. Stefan Molyneux, host of Freedomain Radio, goes through these commandments one-by one and reveals the sophistry, anti-thought and economic ignorance contained within. Article: http://www.nationaljournal.com/politi…- “We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we’re willing to fight for it.”- “We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth.”- “We believe that the Internet shouldn’t be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality.”- “We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage.”- “We believe that fast-food workers deserve a livable wage, and that means that when they take to the picket line, we are proud to fight alongside them.”- “We believe that students are entitled to get an education without being crushed by debt.”- “We believe that after a lifetime of work, people are entitled to retire with dignity, and that means protecting Social Security, Medicare, and pensions.”- “We believe—I can’t believe I have to say this in 2014—we believe in equal pay for equal work.”- “We believe that equal means equal, and that’s true in marriage, it’s true in the workplace, it’s true in all of America.”- “We believe that immigration has made this country strong and vibrant, and that means reform.”- “And we believe that corporations are not people, that women have a right to their bodies. We will overturn Hobby Lobby and we will fight for it. We will fight for it!”Freedomain Radio is 100% funded by viewers like you.
